Self Catering Cottage – Cosy In Winter

You may think we close in winter but we don’t. We are open for short breaks all through the winter season and welcome those who want to experience our lovely area in what people call ‘low season’. But there is so much to see and do around here that we don’t believe its a low season! Experiencing the beautiful winter light on the Fife Coastal Path and feeling the wind in your hair, or being all wrapped up and cosy on the beach are magical. And then of course when you reach your destination whether its The Ship Inn in Elie, The Dreel Tavern in Anstruther or the pub in Kingsbarns you can sit down in front of a roaring fire and have your favourite tipple (or two).

There are things to do inside as well if you don’t fancy a bracing walk. We have the Kings Barns Distilery, The Secret Bunker, Cambo, The Byer Theater, farmers markets at The Bowhouse, shopping in St Andrews to mention just a few. These are all wonderful venues and we have enjoyed going to them all.
